  2. Whose products do we offer?
    • We can offer products from a range of insurers for Household Buildings & Contents, Private Motor, Commercial Motor & Motor Fleet, Property Damage (Fire, Perils & Theft), Employers & Public Liability, Marine, Goods in Transit, Miscellaneous Financial Loss & Travel.

    • We offer products from a limited number of specialist insurers for farm, argricultural and for individual stand-alone cover for Accident, Sickness, Legal Expenses & Assistance.

      Ask us for a list of insurers we offer insurance from

    • We can also offer products from Three Lions Underwriting for Commercial Property Package products such as Shops, Offices, Property Owners and Public Houses.

  3. Which service will we provide you with?
    We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs for Household Buildings & Contents, Private Motor, individual ‘stand-alone’ cover for Accident, Sickness, Travel, Legal Expenses & Assistance. We would normally provide this service for Commercial Clients as well.

  4. What will you have to pay us for our services?
    The following fees apply in respect of the following types of insurance contract Household Buildings & Contents, Private Motor and individual ‘stand-alone’ cover for Commercial Vehicle, Accident, Sickness, Travel, Legal Expenses & Assistance.
    • New Business or Renewal - variable
    • Short Period Polices - £15 in addition to Insurers charges
    • Mid-Term Adjustments - £15 in addition to Insurers charges
    • Temporary Extensions - £15 in addition to Insurers charges
    • Mid-Terms Refunds - £15 deducted from net premium received
    • Cancellation - £15 deducted from net premium received
    • Non-payment of installment - £15 no refund on cancellation or adjustment
    • Duplicate Certificates - £15 in addition to Insurers charges
    • Reminders - £15
    • Late payment - £15
    • Credit and Debit card payments - 2% surcharge payable
    • Financial Services Authority Compliance Fee - Variable

    We reserve the right to make additional charges where necessary to reflect additional work undertaken. Under these circumstances you will be advised of the amount involved in advance.

    Our permitted business is Advising, Arranging and Assisting in the Administration & Performance of Insurance Contracts.

    If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

  7. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
    We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

    Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.

    For compulsory classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
